Patna, May 11: Yoga guru and entrepreneur Baba Ramdev on Friday met RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav at the latter’s home. He told ANI, “I congratulated Lalu ji on being granted bail for six weeks and asked him to take proper care of himself by doing yoga.” Lalu Yadav is home to attend his elder son Tej Pratap Yadav’s wedding and his provisional bail came through on Friday itself. Lalu got the provisional bail on medical grounds. The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief arrived in Patna on Thursday evening to attend his elder son’s marriage on May 12. He is currently on a three-day parole granted by Ranchi’s Birsa Munda Central Jail authorities, to allow him to attend the wedding. He is currently serving his jail term following conviction in the fodder scam cases. Lalu has been undergoing treatment at RIMS after he was brought back to Ranchi from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, on May 1. Tej Pratap Yadav is set to marry former Bihar minister Chandrika Prasad Rai, Aishwarya Rai, on Saturday. CM Nitish Kumar, who quit the Grand Alliance to form a government with the BJP, and Sushil Modi, who played a role to get central agencies probe Yadav family, are among the invitees. Other prominent leaders, such as Congress president Rahul Gandhi, his mother Sonia and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee were reportedly on the guest list. Lalu had missed Tej Pratap and Aishwarya Rai’s engagement ceremony last month. The young couple had exchanged rings in the presence of some 200 guests at a posh hotel in Patna.
