As per Election Commission Of India (ECI) schedule, the vote counting process will begin at 8 am, with trends expected by the morning and a clearer picture of the next government anticipated by the afternoon.

Jharkhand Election Results 2024: The results of the Jharkhand Assembly elections are set to be declared on Thursday, November 23. Jharkhand underwent elections for all 81 constituencies in two phases – November 13 and November 20. The key contest is primarily between the ruling JMM-led INDIA alliance and the BJP-led NDA, each vying to form government in the state. As per Election Commission Of India (ECI) schedule, the vote counting process will begin at 8 am, with trends expected by the morning and a clearer picture of the next government anticipated by the afternoon. The first set of results is expected to be announced around 9:30 a.m. Following which, results from subsequent rounds will be announced with an interval of 20 minutes and 30 minutes, respectively.

As per the latest counting trends on the ECI website, the BJP is performing better in the northern regions of Jharkhand, while the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) is leading in the southern parts of the state.

As per the latest trends, JMM-led INDIA bloc is leading in 48 seats of the 81 assembly seats. While, BJP-led NDA is ahead with 32 seats.
