New Delhi: The body of a young woman was recovered from Ratu Road graveyard of Sukhdev Nagar police station area of Jharkhand’s capital city Ranchi. The deceased has been identified as Silky Gurung and she went missing on December 27.

During the investigation, police said that the girl was murdered on December 28 last year and her body has been sent for post mortem. A missing complaint was registered in the police station.

Two days back, police had recovered a body in the same graveyard. The deceased was identified as Anurag Vishwakarma. Police have also recovered weapons from the spot.

Police has arrested the main accused identified as Anmol Verma and his two accomplices while one more is on run. The police also recovered knives and blood-stained clothes.

Sharing the information, police said, “Main accused Anmol used to love Silky Gurung but she betrayed him. She was cheating him with Anurag because of which he was angry. And on December 28, 2018, he killed Silky and buried her in the graveyard. Then on January 11, Anmol called Anurag and killed him. Anurag’s body was buried in the same graveyard.”

Police has registered a case in the matter and sent all three accused to custody.
