New Delhi, Jan 26: As India celebrated its 69th Republic Day on Friday, The The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) today released a video featuring their jawans marching on ice-laden Himalayas with tricolour in their hand. After finishing the march, the ‘Himveers’ hoisted the flag at 18000 ft height and minus 30 degrees temperature, claimed ITBP.
The video was tweeted by official Twitter handle of ITBP as a part of their Republic Day celebration.

Capital’s Rajpath came alive today with march pasts and colourful tableaux to showcase the country’s military might, cultural legacy and its initiatives, with 10 Asean leaders as chief guests watching the proceedings.
The parade ceremony commenced with Prime Minister Narendra Modi laying the wreath at the Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate to pay homage to the fallen soldier. President Ram Nath Kovind took his first Republic Day salute from various wings of the Indian Army, the Air Force and the Navy.
