Return of Jungle Raj in Bihar: 1 businessman shot dead, another gets robbed of Rs 10 lakhs

While the assailants managed to flee from the scene, no details could be achieved by the police, nor they have been arrested.

Patna, December 28: A businessman was shot dead and another was robbed of Rs 10 lakhs in two separate incidents that took place in Bihar on Monday. The incident took place just after a couple of days when two engineers were killed by unknown assailants in Darbhanga district. So is the return of Jungle Raj in Bihar as was alleged by the Bhartiya Janata Party before elections?

In two separate incidents, two shocking incidents took place in different districts of Bihar when a businessman was shot by unidentified men in Ahiyapur area of Bazar Samiti locality in Muzaffarpur. While the assailants managed to flee from the scene, no details could be achieved by  the police, nor they have been arrested. Another incident took place in Bihar Katihar district late in the afternoon, when three armed motorbike-borne criminals robbed a businessmen of Rs 10 lakhs. However, after a hue and cry over the murder of Darbhanga engineers, police have arrested four more people in connection with the case. While there is an insecurity feeling has emerged between the business community that they are not safe, police is trying its best to regain the lost confidence and the hunt is on. Just before the elections, current Chief Minister Nistish Kumar was criticised for joining hand with Lalu Prasad Yadav whose tenure in Bihar for bringing Jungle Raj. Now, with frequent instances like these, the credibility of strict Nitish Kumar is at stake and we all are watching seriously how is he going to tackle the mafia!
