RR Nagar Assembly Election Result: The Rajarajeshwari Nagar or RR Nagar election result will be declared today. The counting of votes in RR Nagar assembly constituency or Vidhan Sabha seat in Karnataka will begin at 8 AM today. The early trends in RR Nagar election result is expected to be out by 10 AM. All eyes will be on Rajarajeshwari Nagar or R R Nagar election results in Karnataka today where the Congress, Janata Dal (Secular) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) locked in a triangular electoral contest. Election to RR Nagar in Karnataka Assembly segment was postponed from May 12 due to electoral malpractices, including detection of 9,564 voter ID cards at a residential apartment in the area. Congress fielded its sitting MLA N Muniratna, who is an accused in the case. In all, 14 candidates, including Congress’ Munirathna and four Independents are in the fray. Counting of votes for RR Nagar election results will begin at 8 AM. The Assembly constituency went to polls on May 28.

Muniratna witnessed a ‘friendly fight’ from JD(S) candidate GH Ramachandra in R R Nagar. However, the BJP which has fielded Tulasi Muniraju Gowda as its candidate left no stone unturned to wrest the seat from Congress.
