New Delhi: An Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)-backed Indian pharmacy, Deen Dayal Dham, is all set to sell products made from cow urine and dung on Amazon India. The centre will also reportedly sell Kurtas that have been popularised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The selling of products will first be tested on the online domain with only 30 products. The products include face packs, incense sticks and bath soaps made from cow dung and urine.

The move aims to promote and popularise Indian products and provide employment to thousands of people living in the rural areas. If the sales increase on the online platform, jobs and selling of the products will be increased. Till now, the products were only sold at the Dham and the RSS camps.

“Products of our Kamdhenu line that have cow urine among the main ingredients, and kurtas and other khadi products will be available on Amazon soon,” Deputy Secretary of Dham told TOI. One of the co-workers at the Dham said that they collect urine and dung from the cow sheds.

Most of the products at the Dham are priced between Rs 10 and Rs 230. The Modi and Yogi kurtas are sold by the Dham at Rs 220 per piece. “We expect a high demand for cow urine products from online customers, and production will need to be increased,” another co-worker said.
