Samsung offering smartphones for Re 1 as part of ‘Make for India Celebrations’

New Delhi, April 29: Korean electronic firm Samsung has launched a lucrative campaign ‘Make for India Celebrations’ to consolidate its grip in the Indian tech market. The company aims to maximize its sale this season by the offering unprecedented discounts, cashbacks and easy EMI loans. In a shocking offer, Samsung is even offering smartphones at Re 1, with the rest amount to be paid in up to 12 installments.

‘Make for India Celebrations’ program was initiated on Friday. Products such as Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 5 are have been tagged as low as Rs 33,900 and Rs. 42,900 respectively. On both the products, a cashback of 10 per cent is being provided. Galaxy A7 is sold for Rs 29,900, Galaxy A5 for Rs 24,900 and Galaxy Grand Prime 4G for Rs 8,250. Apart from smartphones, heavy discount is being offered on television sets as well.  UHD flat smart TV, full-HD curved TV, and full-HD flat TV are being offered with EMI facility. Cashbacks are being offered split ACs, tablets, microwave owens and refrigerators.

‘Make for India Celebrations’ will continue till May 15. Samsung’s sales are expected to shoot up in the upcoming days. According to Ranjivjit Singh, Vice President of Samsung’s Corporate Marketing, the campaign was initiated to acknowledge the faith posed by Indian customers in their brand. It would only increase the bond which Samsung enjoys with its customers, he said.
