New Delhi: A seminar to discuss the significance of Kumbh is being organised in Mumbai, said reports on Tuesday. The seminar, which would see the who’s who of Mumbai in attendance, is being organised by RSS-supported Naimisharanya Foundation. On its board are luminaries like Rajya Sabha MP and media giant Subhash Chandra, President’s nominee to Rajya Sabha Sonal Mansingh and  Lata Mangeshkar. Sanskriti Kumbh would be held on Wednesday at the ISKCON auditorium in Juhu, 5.30 PM onwards. Backed by RSS’ Sanskar Bharti, the event would have Union Culture Minister Mahesh Sharma, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and his Maharashtra counterpart Devendra Fadnavis talking about the significance of Kumbh along with senior RSS leader Bhayyaji Joshi . Announcing the event on social media, Subhash Chandra tweeted, “First time ever, a Kumbh will be organised in Mumbai, an ideological Kumbh. Kumbh is our national heritage, which not only has spiritual and scientific significance but also has economic importance. Like Yoga, even Kumbh is India’s gift to humanity. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, and RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat have sent their special messages for the event which will be read out to the attendees. Amirchand, a senior RSS functionary and founder of Sanskar Bharti, said that film industry veteran Subhash Ghai was also backing the event. Kumbh Mela has been declared an ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity’.
