“The cache of arms and ammunition was recovered from Neiwala Khad area of Akhnoor. Also Read - Drone Shot Down in J&K's Kanachak, Explosive Material Recovered

“These were drone dropped from across the border for the use of the militants”, sources said.

The drone dropping of arms and ammunition from across the border is a new phenomenon which is being adopted by handlers of militancy from across the border.

Security forces attribute this to the depletion of weapons among the militants still operating in Jammu and Kashmir.
