Shimla, Mar 1: A bus carrying 25 passengers rolled down a cliff in Rohru Tehsil of Shimla district in Himachal Pradesh on Thursday. In a similar incident, the driver of a private bus was killed while 58 passengers, including bus conductor, were left injuries when a Trifalghat-Sundernagar bound bus fell into a gorge at Galuhar Mor in Mandi district on Wednesday. The bus driver, identified as Ami Chand of Chanol village of Mandi, died on the spot. Meanwhile, the injured were rushed to the hospital. According to eyewitnesses, the bus (HP31B- 4425), which had nearly 40 seats, was overloaded. The Mandi deputy commissioner had announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2.7 lakh to the kin of deceased and injured as an immediate relief.
