Hyderabad: A Telangana man who had returned from France and was advised to self-quarantine himself for at least 14 days defied the orders and held a grand wedding party for himself within seven days. Over 1,000 people attended the wedding event, reports said. After the news came to surface amid nationwide coronavirus scare, the man has been sent back to quarantine and the reception party has been cancelled. The wedding event took place in Warangal where the groom travelled from Hyderabad — all during his quarantine period. Many VIPs attended the event as the uncle of the groom is a well-known lawyer of Warangal. According to reports, nobody was wearing any mask, which triggers fear of whether all those who attended the event are exposed to the possibilities of infection and whether they will be tracked. Telangana has so far eight confirmed cases of coronavirus infection. The first victim of coronavirus in India had travelled to Hyderabad for treatment.
