Ajmer, July 8: A state roadways bus and a dumper collided in Rajasthan’s Ajmer district today and claimed the lives of at least six people and injured 21 others. The collision took place between a roadways bus and a dumper truck carrying construction materials in Tabiji village in Ajmer, as per ANI report. The head-on collision of both the vehicles was intense and left a part of the bus damaged. As per reports, the number of deaths is likely to increase. The Police were informed immediately about the gruesome accident and arrangements were made to send the injured to the nearby hospital. The injured are being treated at a hospital. Locals demanded an inquiry into the accident and appealed the authorities to take stock of the situation so that such mishaps could be avoided in the near future.
A couple of days ago, a head constable and two other people were killed and five others were injured after a speeding car rammed into a stationary trailer in Rajasthan’s Churu district. The car rammed into the trailer in Ratangarh town which led to the death of the police personnel and two others. A case was registered and the injured were taken to the hospital.
