New Delhi, Aug. 31 : Lok Janshakti Party ( LJP) chief Ram Vilas Paswan on Monday said that Congress President Sonia Gandhi was insulted as she was made to speak before RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Paswan further dubbed the Swabhimaan Rally a ‘flop’.

“The Swabhimaan rally yesterday was a flop. Congress and JDU should merge into RJD. Sonia Gandhi wasn’t given priority as a speaker… Sonia Gandhi was insulted when she was reduced to speaking before Lalu Yadav and Nitish Kumar,” Paswan told media here. In the wake of the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar, the grand alliance of the JD (U), the RJD and the Congress organised the Swabhiman Rally at Patna’s Gandhi Maidan on Sunday. The alliance leaders led a centralised attack on Prime Minister Modi’s policies and the Centre in their respective speeches.
