Mumbai, Feb 26: Body of veteran actress Sridevi, who died on Sunday after cardiac arrest, will be brought India by a chartered flight from Dubai today. The last rites of Sridevi could take place at Pawan Hans crematorium in Mumbai later in the day. Sridevi, the second wife of producer Boney Kapoor, had gone to attend a family wedding ceremony in Dubai. Sridevi suffered a cardiac arrest following which she fell unconscious inside the bathroom Dubai’s Jumeirah Emirates Tower Hotel. She was immediately taken to Rashid Hospital where she was declared dead. According to reports, she went to the washroom after chatting with her husband. After 15 minutes passed and Sridevi did not come out, Boney Kapoor knocked on the door to check on her.
