New Delhi, Jan 13: Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) will hold a meeting on Saturday evening to discuss next course of action after allegations of four judges of the top court created an uproar in the corridors of power. A report, citing sources from the association, claimed the issues raised by Justice Jasti Chelameswar along with three other judges could have been solved internally. The association further dismissed any possibility of impeachment of Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra. SCBA President Vikas Singh said the issues must be solved internally and there was no need to hold a press conference. “There is no question of impeachment in this case. This has to be addressed within the system rather than going to press like this. You go for a press conference to reveal, but the intention of this press conference was to conceal,” News18 quoted Singh as saying. He further added that entire episode has brought the credibility of the supreme court in question. In a press conference, Justice Jasti Chelameswar along with Justice Madan Lokur, Justice Joseph Kurien and Justice Ranjan Gogoi alleged that the administration of the top court is not in order and it is seriously challenging the institutional integrity.
