Suspicious bag found in Dubai-Amritsar SpiceJet flight at Amritsar airport

A suspicious bag was found in a SpiceJet flight at Amritsar airport on Thursday morning.

Amritsar, July 21: A suspicious bag was found in a SpiceJet flight at Amritsar airport. The suspicious bag was found in Amritsar bound flight, flying from Dubai. The bag was found after the authorities received a call from Dubai airport. The Amritsar bound SpiceJet flight departed from Dubai airport at 4:05 AM and made landing at Amritsar airport at 8:51 AM. All passengers were de-boarded safely.

After the SpiceJet flight landed at Amritsar airport, authorities found an unattended bag in the aircraft. According to initial reports, bomb squad has been called in. There is no report so far regarding explosive content inside the suspicious bag. A search operation has been launched by the authorities. The Delhi-Amritsar flight was launched by low cost airline SpiceJet last year. More details are awaited.
