Thiruvallur

Thiruvallur constituency has 1,204,209 total number of electorates out of which 605,882 are males and 598,327 are females, as per the Election Commission of India (ECI) 2009 data. The seat is reserved for the SC category. In 2014, the seat was won by All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam’s (AIADMK) P Venugopal against Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi’s (VCK) Ravikumar D. For Lok Sabha Elections 2019, the AIADMK has fielded Dr P Venugopal against Congress’s Dr K Jayakumar and Bahujan Samaj Party’s (BSP) R Anbuchezhian.

Chennai North

Chennai North constituency consists of 1,016,663 electorate in total, as per the Election Commission of India (ECI) 2009 data. In 2014, the seat was won by AIADMK’s Venkatesh Babu TG against Girirajan R of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK). For Lok Sabha Elections 2019, the DMK has fielded Kalanidhi Veeraswamy against BSP S Robert Gnana Sekar and Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam’s (DMDK)’s Alagaapuram R Mohanraj.

Chennai South

Chennai South constituency consists of 1,162,062 electorate in total, as per the Election Commission of India (ECI) 2009 data. In 2014, the seat was won by AIADMK’s Dr J Jayavardhan against TKS Elangovan of the DMK. For Lok Sabha Elections 2019, the AIADMK has fielded J Jayavardhan against DMK’s Sumathy (Alias) Thamizhachi Thangapandian and BSP R Kumar.

Chennai Central

Chennai South constituency consists of 1,000,705 electorate in total, as per the Election Commission of India (ECI) 2009 data. In 2014, the seat was won by AIADMK’s SR Vijayakumar against Dayanidhi Maran of the DMK. For Lok Sabha Elections 2019, the DMK has fielded Dayanidhi Maran and BSP M Parthasarathi.

Sriperumbudur

Chennai South constituency consists of 1,201,237 electorate in total, as per the Election Commission of India (ECI) 2009 data. In 2014, the seat was won by AIADMK’s Ramachandran KN Thiru against Jagathrakshakan S Thiru of the DMK. For Lok Sabha Elections 2019, the DMK has fielded Baalu TR and BSP Antony M.

The polling for Lok Sabha Elections 2019 will begin on April 11 and conclude on May 19. The counting of votes will be held on May 23. The results will be announced on the same day.
