Tata Sons, the holding company of the Tata Group, decided to end its contract with Seth following allegations of sexual misconduct. “Counselage’s contract with Tata Sons will end on November 30, 2018,” said a Tata Sons spokesperson. Sources said the company decided to prematurely end the contract with a month’s notice. Journalist Mandakini Gahlot who narrated an incident that involved Seth at a policymakers’ retreat that was held in Goa in July 2011. She wrote on Twitter that just as she was leaving and saying goodbye to the people present, Seth reached out and kissed her on the mouth, even shoving his tongue inside her mouth. Admitting that she was stunned, she said she noticed how Seth and others simply laughed at her shocked expression. She said she didn’t lodge a formal complaint because she was too young, and trying to make a mark in her career, she realised that Seth was too powerful to take on.
Model and former Bigg Boss contestant Diandra Soares also accused Seth of sexual misconduct. Soares said at a fashion week after party Seth shoved his tongue down her mouth and she bit his tongue with all might and anger. Seth hasn’t yet commented on the allegations.
