Patna, May 13: A Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and Kishanganj district president Intekhab Alam was killed in a road accident in Araria on Sunday while returning from the marriage ceremony of party supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son Tej Pratap Yadav with Aishwarya Rai, reports said. Three others including the driver of the vehicle also died on the spot. Intekhab Alam was returning from the Tej Pratap Yadav’s wedding on Sunday along with Ikramul Haq Bagi and RJD’s Dighalbank Block Chief Pappu when the Scorpio in which they were travelling rammed into a truck near Pothia Bazaar in Simraha. Tej Pratap Ties The Knot With Aishwarya Rai

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son Tej Pratap on Saturday, tied the knot with Aishwarya Rai, daughter of RJD leader Chandrika Rai at the Bihar Veterinary College ground in Patna. The high-profile wedding ceremony was attended by many political leaders including Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Samajwadi Party chief and former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav, Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, Bihar Governor Satya Pal Malik, Former Union Minister CP Thakur and Nationalist Congress Party president Sharad Pawar.

On April 18, Tej Pratap got engaged to Aishwarya at a posh hotel in Patna while the Mehendi ceremony was held on May 9. Lalu, who is serving a jail sentence after being convicted in multiple fodder scam cases, is on three-day parole to attend his elder son’s marriage.
