New Delhi: Referring to brother Tej Pratap Yadav’s divorce petition against wife Aishwarya Rai , former Bihar deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday issued a stern warning and said that even Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar won’t be spared if there are discussion about his family matters. “Domestic affairs do affect people but only those who are members of the family. These are not public issues but everyone started discussing it. If there are talks about personal issues, even the PM and the CM won’t be spared, Yadav asserted.
The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader, while addressing a party programme also lambasted media for focusing more on his elder brother’s marital discord than on ailing woman’s constable death in Bihar. “Yesterday, things began on a stormy note with thousands of police personnel going on the rampage following the death of a female constable. It was a serious issue, concerning law and order, and was being rightly highlighted by the media. But by evening, all that was forgotten and happenings in a family became the centre of attention.” (Also Read: ‘I Feel Suffocated’: Tej Pratap Yadav on Filing For Divorce From Aishwarya Rai)

Tej Pratap on Friday evening filed for divorce in a Patna civil court five months after his marriage to Aishwarya Rai, daughter of senior RJD leader Chandrika Rai and a granddaughter of former Bihar Chief Minister Daroga Rai.
Earlier in the day, Tej Pratap Yadav, admitted that he has filed a petition for divorce from Aishwarya Rai. Claiming that he is feeling suffocated in the marriage, he said there is no point in living like this. “It is true that I have filed a petition. Ghut-ghut ke jeene se toh koi fayeda hai nahi,” Tej Pratap was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.
He also met his jailed father and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav in the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS). Reportes claimed that the RJD chief has been tense since the news of his son’s divorce petition reached him.
