Hyderabad: Counting of votes for Siddipet, Medak, Narsapur, Sangareddy, Patancheru, Dubbak, Gajwel has been done.

As per the counting in Telangana, the TRS has won a landslide victory in the state.

In Siddipet, T. Harish Rao of TRS has won by a margin of 118699 against Bhavani Marikanti of Telangana Jana Samithi. Thanneeru Harish Rao of TRS has won from this seat in five consecutive Assembly elections including those held in the then undivided Andhra Pradesh. In the 2014 Assembly elections, he defeated the Congress’ Taduri Srinivas Goud by an overwhelming margin of 93,000 votes. This time the BJP had fielded Naini Narotham Reddy against the TRS minister.

In Medak, Padma Devender Reddy of TRS has won against Ammareddy Gari Upender Reddy of Congress. Akula Rajaiah from BJP, Ammareddy Gari Upender Reddy from Congress and M Padma Devender Reddy of TRS contested from this seat. In 2014, M.Padma Devender Reddy from TRS had defeated Vijaya Shanthi M from Congress by 89654 votes.

In Narsapur, Chilumula Madan Reddy of TRS has won against Vakiti Sunitha of Congress. TRS’s Chilumula Madan Reddy had defeated Congress’ Vakiti Sunitha in the 2014 Assembly elections by a margin of 14,000 votes. The candidate for the 2018 elections from BJP was Singayagapalli Gopi, from Congress was Vakiti Sunitha, and from TRS was Chilumula Madan Reddy.

In Sangareddy, Turupu Jayaprakash Reddy of Congress has won against Chinta Prabhakar of TRS. TRS’s Chinta Prabhakar had defeated Congress’s Jayaprakash Reddy in the 2014 Assembly elections by 29,000 votes. The candidate for the 2018 elections from BJP was Deshpande Rajeshwar Rao, from Congress was Turupu Jayaprakash Reddy, and from TRS was Chinta Prabhakar.

In Patancheru, Gudem Mahipal Reddy of TRS has won against Kata Srinivas Goud of Congress. TRS’s Gudem Mahipal Reddy had defeated TDP M Sapanadev in the 2014 Assembly elections by 18,000 votes. The candidate for the 2018 elections from BJP was Karunakar Reddy P, from Congress was Kata Srinivas Goud, and from TRS was Gudem Mahipal Reddy.

In Dubbak, Solipeta Ramalinga Reddy of TRS has won against Maddula Nageshwar Reddy of Congress. TRS’s Solipteta Rama Linga Reddy had defeated Congress’s Cheruku Muthyam Reddy in the 2014 Assembly elections. The candidate for the 2018 elections from Congress was Maddula Nageshwar Reddy, from BJP was Madavaneni Raghunandan Rao, and from TRS was Solipeta Ramalinga Reddy.

TRS President and Telangana caretaker, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, won from Gajwel constituency by over 50,000 votes. In Gajwel, TRS’s Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao had defeated TDP Pratap Reddy Vanteru in the 2014 Assembly elections. The candidate for the 2018 elections from BJP was Akula Vijaya, from Congress was Vanteru Pratap Reddy, and from TRS was Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao.
