The counting of votes for-- Dornakal, Mahabubabad, Narsampet, Mulug, Pinapaka, Yellandu, Bhadrachalam is over and TRS has emerged victorious.

New Delhi: The counting of votes for all the 119 seats, including Dornakal Mahabubabad Narsampet Mulug Pinapaka Yellandu and Bhadrachalam, counting is over and TRS has emerged victorious. Here is the list of winners.

In Dornakal, Congress’ D Redya Naik switched to TRS to contest in 2018 Telangana Assembly polls. Sitting MLA Dharamsoth Redya Naik will be contesting the 2018 election under TRS. Earlier, he won the seat from Congress. Banoth Shankar Nayak of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is currently representing the constituency. Nayak won the 2014 Assembly election and defeated Kavitha Malothu of Congress by a margin of 9,315 votes. In Narsampet constituency, KCR is the primary contender against TRS along with other parties.

Meanwhile, in Mulug, TRS’ Chandulal Azmeera will face BJP’s Devilal Banoth. In 2014 Assembly elections, Chandulal defeated Podem Veeraiah of Congress by a margin of 16,399 votes.
Pinapaka is one of the 10 constituencies in Khammam district and a part of the Mahabubabad Lok Sabha constituency. It is a constituency where the seat is reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidates only. Kanakaiah Koram from Congress holds the Yellandu constituency. It must be noted that the second runner-up Haripriya Banoth was defeated by a margin of 11,507 votes in 2014 from this region.
In Bhadrachalam constituency, CPI’s Midiyam Baburao to compete against TRS’ Tellam Venkata Rao.
Telangana is currently ruled by Telangana Rashtra Samithi. Telangana has 119 Assembly seats. The TRS holds 63 seats, while INC has 21. Telugu Desam Party of N Chandrababu Naidu has 15 seats, Asaduddin Owaisi-led AIMIM has 7, BJP 5, 8 seats are held by others.
