Telangana horror: Girlfriend’s family kills man with cricket bat after…; was called to discuss marriage

Telangana Horror: Shocking Telangana news has come to light in which an engineering student was brutally killed with a cricket bat by his girlfriend’s family. The victim was an engineering student and was called by the girlfriend’s family at their home under the pretext of discussing the couple’s marriage. The girlfriend’s family had shown disagreement over their relationship multiple times in the past. After calling the man to the house, the family allegedly attacked the man with a cricket bat, resulting in severe fractures and injuries. The man eventually succumbed to injuries.

What’s the case?

A second-year engineering student from St Peter’s Engineering College in Maisammaguda, studying computer science and engineering, was brutally attacked by his girlfriend’s family. The name of the victim is Jyothi Sravan Sai. He was living in Qutbullapur’s rented room while studying at the college.

The inspector of Ameenpur Circle, Naresh, stated that Jyothi Sravan Sai was in a relationship with a 19-year-old girl named Sreeja. She lives in Beeramguda’s Isukabavi.

The family of Sreeja had a problem with the couple’s relationship and had disagreed with it multiple times in the past. The man was called by the family to discuss their marriage when the shocking incident took place.

Brutal attack by the girlfriend’s family

After calling Sravan Sai to the house under the pretext of discussing their daughter’s marriage with him, he was brutally attacked. The victim was hit with a cricket bat by the family members of Sreeja, including her mother. This led to severe injuries, fracturing legs and ribs and causing a head injury.

What’s happening now?

The injuries were so serious that he was immediately taken to a private hospital in the region of Kukatpally. The man succumbed to injuries in the hospital and was declared dead. The Ameenpur Police have now filed a case for murder against the family of Sravan’s girlfriend. The authorities have also recovered the cricket bat with which he was attacked. The victim’s body has been sent for post-mortem. A proper investigation is still underway.
