Pulwama, June 14: In yet another incident, terrorists opened fire at a joint check point of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Police near Pulwama’s Gangoo village in Jammu and Kashmir today. Yesterday too, at least four Border Security Force (BSF) personnel were killed as Pakistan resorted to ceasefire violation along the Line of Control (LoC) in Chambliyal sector of Jammu and Kashmir. Assistant Commandant Jatinder Singh, Sub-Inspector Rajnish Kumar, ASI Ram Niwas and Constable Hans Raj lost their life during the incident. Last rites for BSF Assistant Commandment Jitendra Singh was held today in Bharatpur.

The cross border violations comes after the both the Indian and Pakistani Director General Of Military Operations (DGMOs) signed an agreement and reinstated the 2003 truce agreement which asked to pull a plug on the border violations in Jammu and Kashmir. This agreement came into force on May 29 when Indian DGMO Lt Gen Anil Chauhan and Pakistan’s Maj Gen Sahir Shamshad Mirza issued similar statements resonating with this pact.
