New Delhi/ Islamabad, Sep 2: Ibrahim Mushtaq Abdul Razak Nadim Memon alias Tiger Memon was arrested in Karachi, according to the unconfirmed reports. As per the reports, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) that is a counter-intelligence and security agency under the Ministry of Interior of Pakistan arrested Tiger Memon in a raid in Karachi.
Maharashtra Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) said that they haven’t got any confirmation of Tiger Memon’s arrest. Tiger Memon is the main accused of the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts which claimed the lives of 257 people and left more than 700 injured. He is wanted by Interpol and the CBI.
Yakub Memon, brother of Tiger Memon was found guilty by the Supreme Court in the 1993 blast case and sentenced death penalty. On July 30, Yakub was hanged in Nagpur central jail.
