Kolkata, June 28: Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Amit Mitra on Thursday accused Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of creating an emergency like situation in the nation, adding that the party is responsible for creating fear amongst all in the country. He also called party national president Amit Shah a ‘Dangi’ (one who creates troubles). The TMC leader said, “An emergency like situation has been created in the nation by the BJP. They have created fear among all in the country. Amit Shah who himself is a ‘dangi’ is talking about violence in Bengal. Earlier in the day, BJP President Amit Shah accused the TMC of using violence to remain in power in West Bengal, adding that the party will not remain in power for long. “If Trinamool Congress thinks that through violence they can continue to remain in power in Bengal, then I would like to challenge them that the sacrifice of our workers will not go in vain and their govt will not last long,” he said while addressing a public meeting in West Bengal’s Purulia. Shah further alleged that the TMC shut down all factories except those that manufacture bombs. “Bengal didn’t develop but the goons of TMC developed. All factories have shut down in the state only bomb-making factories are running successfully,” he claimed.

Amit Shah today reached out to the rural families in West Bengal’s Purulia district as part of the party’s ‘Jan Sampark Abhiyan’, a nationwide campaign to highlight the success of the NDA regime in the last four years.
