Hyderabad: A trainee aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district of Telangana on Wednesday. Briefing about the incident, Indian Air Force PRO, Anupam Banerjee, said, “A Kiran aircraft which took off from Hakimpet Air Force Station on a routine training mission crashed today morning. The trainee pilot ejected safely. A Court of Inquiry will investigate the cause of the accident.” Also Read - Three Persons Electrocuted in Telangana

In a similar incident on November 21, a trainee aircraft crashed in the fields of Shankarpalli block of Telangana’s Rangareddy district. The incident happened in the morning.

It is reported that a trainee plane of the Rajiv Gandhi Aviation Academy crashed in the Shankarapalli fields due to a technical glitch. The 25-year-old pilot, identified as Bhaskar Bhushan, escaped unhurt.
