Delhi Traffic police issued advisories alerting commuters about inundated and blocked roads. Delhi Traffic Police urged people to plan their travel and routes according to the alerts.
The Delhi Traffic Police asked commuters traveling from Delhi to Noida to stay informed and plan their travel routes in advance to avoid heavily waterlogged areas.
“Traffic is affected on W-Point Tilak Bridge road in both the carriageways from A-Point to W-Point and vice-versa due to waterlogging below Tilak Bridge W-point. Kindly plan your journey accordingly,” the traffic police said in a post.

As per the advisory from the police, traffic was heavily impacted on Anuvrat Marg in both directions from 100 Foota Red Light and Lado Sarai Red Light due to waterlogging.
Vehicular movement was also impacted on both carriageways of the Outer Ring Road from Shantivan to ISBT and in the opposite direction due to waterlogging near Y-point Saleemgarh and Nigambodh Ghat.
In the meantime, the IMD has predicted the weather for the next seven days in Delhi and aid there will be generally cloudy skies and varying intensities of rain accompanied by gusty winds.
As predicted by IMD for June 28, the forecast includes light to moderate rain or thunderstorms, with temperatures similar to the previous day and wind speeds reaching up to 35 km/h.
The IMD added that the Southwest monsoon is expected to further advance into Delhi, Chandigarh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu during the next couple of days.
“Conditions are likely to become favourable for further advance of southwest Monsoon into some more parts of Rajasthan; remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, some more parts of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Chandigarh and some parts of Haryana, some more parts of Punjab, remaining parts of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu during next 2-3 days,” the IMD forecast said on Thursday.
