“The concept behind greeting guests with a key is to symbolically convey a message that they are welcome to unlock the gates and enter Agra,” the city’s mayor Naveen Jain said and added that as a representative of the citizens of Agra, this gesture will convey the cultural message of ‘Athithi Devo Bhava (Guest is God)’. The silver ‘key to the city’ is being specially prepared by a Delhi designer, as per the directions of AMC administration. The 12-inch-long key will have a picture of the iconic Taj Mahal along with ‘Welcome to Agra’ and ‘Agra Municipal Corporation’ carved on both sides. Prepping up



Grand arrangements are being made at full-power to welcome the US President, who will be accompanied in the state by First Lady Melania Trump. However, according to reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is unlikely to accompany in President Trump’s Agra visit.

Meanwhile, Rajiv Rathi, Executive Engineer, Municipal Corporation told news agency ANI that all work related to infrastructure development has been completed, with the focus remaining on cleanliness and beautification of streets.

Meanwhile, in Delhi, Melania Trump is supposed to visit Delhi government schools and attend happiness classes. While Jared will accompany the President, the itinerary of Ivanka Trump is not yet known.
