New Delhi: Ahead of US President Donald Trump and his high level delegation’s visit to the national capital, traffic police has issued an advisory, informing commuters that movement in some parts of the city will be affected due to security measures. Besides, the Delhi traffic police have also informed traffic in the areas of Delhi Cantonment, Delhi-Gurgaon Road (NH 48), Dhaula Kuan, Chanakyapuri, SP Marg, RML Roundabout, and the adjoining areas will remain heavy during the evening hours on Monday. The traffic is also likely to remain heavy in Moti Bagh, India Gate, and areas around ITO, Delhi Gate and the adjoining areas of Central and New Delhi from forenoon till around 4 pm. “Necessary diversions as per the ground situation may also be put in place”, the advisory read.



Delhiites have also been asked to check the Delhi traffic police’s website and its twitter handle for updates on necessary traffic diversions.
