Udhampur attack: NIA to interrogate Mohammed Naved aka Usman

The National Investigative Agency (NIA) will take over the charge of the investigation in the Udhampur attack case.

Udhampur attack: NIA to interrogate Mohammed Naved aka Usman

Jammu, Aug. 6: The National Investigative Agency (NIA) will take over the charge of the investigation in the Udhampur attack case. The NIA team is expected to reach Jammu on Thursday. The team will also interrogate the terrorist Mohammad Naved alias Usman who was captured alive yesterday in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir.

On Wednesday, a Border Security Force (BSF) convoy was attacked by two militants. 2 jawan were martyred and one militant was killed in the gun battle. A militant was captured alive by the hostages held by the militant. The militant was later identified as Mohammed Naved. According to Naved, he hails from Pakistan. According to reports, there had been many warnings from the intelligence about a possible terror attack in Udhampur which was a vulnerable spot due to the ongoing Amarnath yatra.
