Under Godman Influence, Woman Slits 8-month-old’s Throat Before Stabbing Self

The incident was reported in Prem Nagar area of Aman Vihar in Delhi. It is said that the woman was under the influence of a godman she used to visit.

New Delhi, Apr 20: A 29-year-old woman on Thursday slit her eight-month-old baby’s throat and then stabbed herself multiple times. The incident was reported in Prem Nagar area of Aman Vihar in Delhi. It is said that the woman was under the influence of a godman she used to visit.

She was found in a pool of blood by her husband. Her baby was lying just by her side with his throat slit. Her family members have claimed that she had earlier tried to kill her other son as well. She had been frequently visiting a godman and was said to be under her influence.

She was taken to a government hospital where she’s being treated for multiple stab injuries. She is said to have first slit the throat of the infant and then stabbed herself with a kitchen knife.

A murder case has been registered against the woman. Role of the godman is also being probed. Her husband is also being questioned if he knew of his wife’s activties.
