Lucknow Jan 3: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav may sense relief after leading the charts of the statistics released through the ABP News-Lokniti CSDS survey. In the opinion poll predictions, the incumbent chief minister proved to be the biggest electoral player in UP politics. Not only is the rebellious son outmatching his father within Samajwadi Party, he holds far greater edge in the contemporary state politics as compared to Mulayam Singh Yadav. Apart from surging ahead of Mulayam and Mayawati, Akhilesh is also giving a fight to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in terms of popularity within Uttar Pradesh, claims ABP News Opinion Poll. A united Samajwadi Party under the leadership of Akhilesh Yadav is projected to be lead the 2017 legislative elections with 141-151 seats, whereas with 129-138 seats BJP is predicted to be on the second spot and BSP with 93-103 seats will have to settle on the third spot and Congress party is predicted to be victorious on 13-19 seats only. Most popular face in the Yadav family
In the ABP News, Lokniti and CSDS opinion poll, 83 percent voters voted for Akhilesh Yadav as the Chief Minister candidate of Samajwadi Party whereas Mulayam Singh Yadav managed to get only 6 percent support and only 2 percent voters voted for Ramgopal Yadav as the face of the Samajwadi Party in the 2017 legislative elections. However, this opinion poll was conducted before the family feud of the Yadav family. However even if Akhilesh Yadav and Mulayam Singh Yadav contest elections separately, Akhilesh Yadav is predicted to win 82-92 seats whereas Mulayam Singh Yadav is predicted to emerge victorious in 9-15 seats only.
Victorious within all political parties-
The 43 year old chief minister is also leading as the most popular chief ministerial candidate among all the political parties. 28 percent of the voters according to the ABP News, Lokniti and CSDS opinion poll want to see Akhilesh as the next Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh whereas Mayawati with 21 percent votes is on the second spot. BJP MP Yogi Adityanath has managed to be on the third spot with only 4 percent votes and only 3 percent voters want to witness Mulayam Singh Yadav as the next chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. This survey states that Akhilesh Yadav with his clean image has managed to gain control not only within his party but also overall he has been successful in creating a positive image for himself.
Better image than Mayawati and Narendra Modi
Chief minister Akhilesh Yadav has also managed to create a better image in the mind of the voters compared to BSP supremo Mayawati as well as Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to the ABP News, Lokniti and CSDS opinion poll 41 percent voters have voted in the favor that Akhilesh Yadav has done better work than ex chief minister Mayawati. In the same poll, Akhilesh Yadav received 34 percent votes compared to 32 percent votes of Narendra Modi in terms of more satisfactory work.
This poll states that Akhilesh Yadav has still managed to create a clean image for himself and he may be the most powerful face in the 2017 legislative elections. However, this was the result of the ABP News, Lokniti and CSDS opinion poll and the final decision will be taken by the UP voters in the 2017 legislative assembly.
