Etawah, March 29: In a shocking incident that was reported from Uttar Pradesh, three police officers were caught drinking beer on duty in Etawah. As per reports, all three police officers have been suspended. The video that was tweeted by ANI showed the three policemen sitting in their patrolling vehicle, while one of the cops stepped out as the camera panned to capture visuals. The other cop was seen hiding his face in shame. Earlier this week, Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Party had exposed the reality of police- Dial 100 service in Uttar Pradesh. The party also uploaded a video of two drunk cops who were on-duty. In the video, it was seen that the two policemen were sitting on their official vehicle which was a black SUV and were caught on camera drinking ‘liquor’.

In the video, it was seen that the two policemen were sitting on their official vehicle which was a black SUV and were caught on camera drinking ‘liquor’. The Dial 100 service of Uttar Pradesh police was started by Samajwadi Party to reach to the needed people quickly and help them in the way possible. Former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav had also used it often while campaigning for the state assembly polls to woo the voters. However, it did not work for the party to win the polls and now the cops are defaming the service, as the video shows.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) got a historic mandate in the state this election. The saffron party won the hearts of voters and won with a thumping majority in Uttar Pradesh with 325 seats out of the 403 seats. With this victory, the party made Yogi Adityanath as its Chief Minister for Uttar Pradesh. The newly formed government in the state is leaving no stone unturned to fulfil its election promises. Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh Police have sealed abou 12 ‘illegal’ slaughterhouses across the state. They have also arrested 43 persons in connection with 27 cases lodged against 60 alleged cattle smugglers as part of its statewide operation launched to check cattle smuggling and illegal slaughterhouses, Indian Express reported. In wake of the orders of Yogi Adityanath, the district police in Uttar Pradesh has formed anti-Romeo squads in every police station to check eve-teasing.
