Uttar Pradesh: Bike-borne Miscreants Throw Acid on Woman Due to Get Married on April 24; Victim Critically Injured
The victim was sleeping outside her house when the incident happened. She was due to get married on April 24.
Unnao, Mar 23: A woman in Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh was critically injured when she was attacked with acid by unidentified bike-borne miscreants. The victim was sleeping outside her house when the incident occurred. She was due to get married on April 24. The police have launched a probe in the matter.
Reports say that the victim’s sister and her four-year-old nephew, who were sleeping beside her, were also injured in the incident.

In a similar incident a few days back, two bike-borne miscreants had attacked a 24-year-old woman with acid in Ghaziabad. The victim, an employee of Punjab National Bank, suffered burn injuries in the incident.
