New Delhi, Aug 1: Railway traffic was disrupted for hours after a railroad crane broke down on the tracks near Govind Nagar in Kanpur city of Uttar Pradesh, ANI reported on Wednesday. As soon as the incident was reported, the security forces rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation.  As a result, many trains were diverted to different routes.  Repairing work is underway. Also Read - 14 Trains Running Late Due to Low Visibility in Northern Railway Region

On July 4, three coaches of Pooja Superfast Express were derailed at Phulera in Rajasthan. No casualty was reported.  After the incident, the rail traffic was affected for some time.

On June 10, three coaches of Howrah Mail train were derailed near Igatpuri railway station in Maharashtra. Coach S-12, S-13 and pantry car of the train were derailed, as per the reports. Seven trains were diverted due to the affected line. Reportedly, 12 trains on the route were cancelled.
