Earlier on June 14, an earthquake of magnitude 4.0 on the Richter scale hit Uttarakhand’s Uttarkashi at 6:12 AM. Earlier, on June 11, a 4.9-magnitude earthquake struck Assam and its adjoining areas. There was no report of any damage or injury after the earthquake hit Assam.
