Madhya Pradesh News: Authorities in Guna district of Madhya Pradesh Sunday bulldozed an “illegally constructed” house belonging to Ayan Pathan— a labourer accused of rape, torture, and illegal detention of a 23-year-old woman, reportedly his girlfriend, over a property dispute.
According to district officials, Pathan’s house was found to be built on state-owned land using forged documents, and subsequently an order was passed to demolish it.

Earlier this week, the horrifying story of a young woman came to the fore from Guna district wherein she was allegedly kept hostage, raped, and tortured by the accused, Ayan Pathan, for over a month. Pathan allegedly raped the woman on multiple occasions, assaulted her, inserted chilli powder in her eyes and privates and even sealed her mouth shut with adhesive to prevent her from screaming, police said.
According to the police, the accused and the victim were in a relationship for some time, and Pathan wanted the woman to transfer her property in his name. However, when she refused, the accused held her hostage and thrashed her.
Pathan repeatedly raped her and stuffed chilli powder into her eyes, mouth and even her private parts. He then proceeded to seal her mouth shut with a plastic adhesive to prevent her from screaming, reports claimed.
The barbaric incident came to light earlier this week after gnarly visuals of the woman’s ordeal surfaced on social media. Ayan was arrested following a complaint by the victim who is currently undergoing treatment for her injuries at a hospital.
Police said the accused has been sent to jail after illegal alcohol was found at his house, but the investigation into the alleged rape case is undergoing.
“A woman alleged that a person named Ayan Khan beat her up and raped her. We have filed a complaint on the basis of her allegations. We searched the house of the accused and found illegal alcohol at his residence. We arrested him and sent him to jail,” Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Guna said.
