New Delhi, April 28: In a video message released on micro blogging site Twitter, a Central Reserve Police Force jawan appealed to the jawans along with officers deployed in anti-Naxal operations that limit of tolerance towards Naxals has crossed all levels after the Sukma attack.
The jawan said ” it is not the battle of any government, society or constitution. Had it been it would have ended so early. After days of debate in media, all will settle down.”
In an emotional message, he added “all jawans should swear-in that they will not leave the operations till they take the revenge of the Sukma Attack. You do not need any special power act. if we are dying, we will die only after killing them(Naxals).” He complained that even after the sacrifice of 25 CRPF jawans in Sukma, no political met the families of the slain security forces personnel.
Adding that the paramilitary forces do not need sympathy via Facebook, Twitter and Whatsapp. No amount of compensation can replace the grief of parents who had lost their kin in the battle. Only a revenge can extinguish the anguish of the jawans. He said, “you all know how to fight it on a personal level. Use your brains in combating the(Naxals).”
Sukma Naxal attack claimed the lives of 25 CRPF jawans early this month. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had called the attack ‘cowardly’ and said that the sacrifice of the jawans will not go in vain. Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh too had said that he accepts the challenge tossed by Naxals after the attack.
The video was released by Major Gaurav Arya on Twitter. The identity of the jawan could not be ascertained and India.Com cannot vouch for the authenticity of the video.
