New Delhi: A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to approach by Saturday evening or Sunday, leading to scattered rains over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. This could continue till Monday.
There could be light to moderate snow over Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala and isolated activities over the lower state of Uttarakhand. The rest of the country can experience dry weather conditions.
Other northern states like Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan may also witness isolated rain. Likewise, Maharashtra, Telangana and Kerala are also likely to experience isolated rainfall.
A cyclonic circulation over northeastern India will also bring fairly widespread snow or rain and thunderstorms over Arunachal Pradesh on Saturday. However, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura may witness scattered rain with thunderstorms.
Air quality in major cities across India, especially in Delhi, will also fall under the poor to very poor category.
The cyclonic circulation will continue bringing isolated snow or rain in Arunachal Pradesh on Sunday and beyond. Though, isolated rainfall can take place in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
In the plains, including Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Delhi, the weather will again go dry from March 26 onwards. Western parts of Uttar Pradesh could continue with scattered rains and thundershower.
