Weather Forecast: Delhi and adjoining National Capital Region (NCR) woke up to clear skies as dense fog that created near-zero visibility conditions on Monday morning has weakened on Tuesday because of strong winds. The capital city, Noida, Ghaziabad and Gurugram witnessed a noticeable shift in weather conditions as, despite earlier warnings, dense fog failed to form due to improved air circulation. However, moderate cold waves continue to intensify in North India. Minimum or nighttime temperatures were recorded at around 9 degrees Celsius, while maximum temperatures are expected to hover between 23 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that there will be no sharp drop in temperature in Delhi-NCR over the next few days.
