New Delhi: At least 13 people died and 18 others were injured in a road accident in Dhupguri city of Jalpaiguri district in West Bengal last night, due to reduced visibility caused due to fog on Tuesday night. The incident happened when a minibus transporting wedding guests from Churabhandar Lal School to Dhupguri crashed head-on with a truck due to low visibility in the area. According to police reports, a commercial vehicle Tata Magic was the first to collide against the truck, followed by a Maruti van and another car, on the national highway near Jaldhaka Bridge. Travellers were hit by boulders that fell off the truck after the accident.
