PM Modi, speaking at the 76th session UNGA, said that he represents a country that is known as the 'mother of democracy.'

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday addressed the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly, wherein he said, “When India grows, the world grows. When India reforms, the world transforms”. He flew to New York from Washington after his first bilateral meeting with US President Joe Biden.

Addressing the high-level United Nations General Assembly session here, PM Modi said: “We have had a great tradition of democracy that goes back to thousands of years.”
