Patna, November 21: Tej Pratap Yadav, son of RJD chief Lalu Prasad fumbled twice during the oath taking ceremony on Friday evening. When the lawmakers take oath in large numbers some are always in the news as they commit mistake during their oath. But yesterdays incident was not an unexpected as the 9th class pass Tej Pratap was embarrassed twice after he misread ‘apekshit’ (expected) as ‘upekshit’ (neglected).
The Governor Ramnath Kovind pointed out the mistake and informed Tej that he had misread ‘apekshit’ (expected) as ‘upekshit’ (neglected). While repeating the oath, already fumbled Tej, again committed a small mistake and was again interrupted by Governor. The ceremony took place at Patna’s Gandhi Maidan where Nitish Kumar took an oath of Bihar’s Chief Minister for the fifth time on Friday.
Tej Pratap, who turns 28 tomorrow, has settled for a junior role in the cabinet. Prior to Tej Pratap, Tejashwi had also taken oath as a Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister.

Lalu’s oldest Misa contested the Lok Sabha election but lost. She was present at the swearing in ceremony along with two more sisters.
Lalu’s RJD is the single largest party in the Bihar Assembly with 80 seats. The oath taking ceremony was attended by several national and state leaders including senior leaders from BJP and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
The Bihar battle was the biggest popularity test after the Delhi assembly election of February which the BJP lost badly to the AAP.
