Patna, April 27: If this is not VIP culture than what is. Vehicles carrying bodies of martyred CRPF jawans were halted to let Bihar chief minister’s convoy pass. The video of the shocking evidence of the VIP culture was released by the news agency ANI. This goes on to say that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ban on red beacons is just symbolic and has no real significance. When soldiers who lost their lives in the line of duty had to face this, what would happen to the common man of the nation?
According to the report, the jawans had attained martyrdom in the Sukma attack and their mortal remains were being transported from Patna airport to their native places. The truck had been halted as the CM’s convoy with a dozen cars had been passing.

The incident occurred on Tuesday. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and deputy CM Tejaswi Yadav had been attending the 8th foundation of the Bihar State Road Development Corporation, which is adjacent to the Patna airport. The trucks carrying the mortal remains came out of the airport as Nitish Kumar’s cavalcade came out of the venue of the function. The vehicles were stopped to let the convoy pass. The incident has left some unanswered questions. Why didn’t his convoy stopped to pay homage to the people who laid down their lives for the nation? Who is the real VIP– the martyrs or the politicians?
Out of the 26 slain jawans, 6 Bihar jawans attained martyrdom in Chattisgarh’s Sukma attack by the Maoists. The are identified as Constable Sourabh Kumar of Danapur, Constable Abhay Kumar of Vaishali, Constable Abhay Mishra of Bhojpur, Constable KK Pandey of Rohtas, Constable Ranjit Kumar of Sheikhpur.
