Muzaffarnagar, Aug 2: A woman chopped off her husband’s genitals for allegedly neglecting her and “staying with his second wife” in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh.

The incident, which was reported from Mimlana area of the district, came to light on Wednesday when the man was rushed to the hospital in a serious condition.

Reportedly, the man had married the second time with consent of his first wife, as they did not have a child. The second wife had recently given birth to a child, Station House Officer, Kotwali police station, Anil Kaperwan was quoted as informing to PTI.

The man was staying at his second wife’s residence for some time, and it apparently angered the woman following which she took the extreme step.

Meanwhile, a complaint has been lodged with the police against man’s first wife.

In a similar incident in February this year, a woman chopped off her husband’s genitals and then disposed them in a toilet for allegedly having an extramarital affair. In the attack, Azad Singh, a resident of Joginder Nagar, was seriously injured.

The woman, Sukhwant Kaur, took this extreme step when Azad Singh was sleeping. First, she hit her husband with a rod which left him unconscious. Thereafter, she chopped off his private parts with a knife and then disposed them in a toilet, the police claimed.

In another case, a woman was arrested from Gudiyattam in Tamil Nadu for allegedly chopping off the genitals of her husband over following a fight over his illicit relationship. The police had recovered the chopped off part of her husband’s genital from her.
