He also said that since there can be no work possible without women any day, there shouldn’t just be one day known as Women’s Day. “Why is there only 1 day for women? Is it possible to run a household, country or world without women for a day? No! In India we’ve been worshiping and respecting women since forever. Today, women hold so many important posts,” Chouhan said.
Chouhan also highlighted women achievers who inspire other women in the country. “Women like Bhakti Sharma, the sarpanch of Barkheda, Avni Chaturvedi, first Indian women to fly a fighter jet solo, Muskan Kirar, who won a gold at Asia Archery Cup, and all women from the state in the National Hockey team are doing commendable jobs,” he said.
