Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a direct attack on former CM Akhilesh Yadav saying that the one who couldn’t be loyal to his own father and uncle, shouldn’t be talking about unity and unifying people.

Adityanath further went on to compare Yadav to Mughal ruler Aurangzeb, who had imprisoned his own father Shah Jahan. He said inferences as such can be heard these days. He added that it is for the same reason that Muslims too refrain from naming their son after the Muhal despot who became blinded for the succession of the throne and held his father captive.

Yogi added that the Samajwadi Party (SP) chief should take care of his family and party, which were on verge of breaking up.

Adityanath’s barb came after SP chief Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday accused the saffron party of igniting caste politics in the state and said the current CM’s days were numbered since he would be ousted in the coming year itself. Yadav also blamed CM Adityanath for creating a mess in the state because of caste politics. He said that the monk-turned-CM will not remain in his chair in 2019.

Yadav added, “After stoking communal passions, now these people are whipping up passions on the reservation issue.”
