Lucknow: After taking oath as 21st chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath addressed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers and strictly advised them not to make any insensitive or thoughtless comments. The newly-appointed chief minister also asked all his ministers to provide details of their income, moveable and immoveable assets within a fortnight (15 days).
Leading news agency PTI quoted state minister and party’s national spokesperson Srikant Sharma saying, “As uprooting corruption is the main agenda of our party, the CM in his first introductory meeting with his ministers directed them to give details of their income, moveable and immoveable properties with 15 days to the (party) organisation as well as the secretary (to CM).” Sharma also stated that the CM also emphasised on “coordination” between government and the BJP organisation.
Earlier on Sunday, the Hindu bigot addressed a press conference in the state and said,“Our government would stick to the principle of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas. We would ensure development for all, without any sort of discrimination on lines of caste, creed or religion.” Blaming Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party, Yogi claimed that the previous governments were corruption-ridden because of which the state had suffered.
Yesterday, in presence of PM Modi, BJP chief Amit Shah and thousand party workers, firebrand Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Yogi Adityanath, who is known for his controversial statements took oath as 21st chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. BJP UP chief Keshav Prasad Maurya and Lucknow Mayor Dr Dinesh Sharma sworn in as the Deputy Chief Ministers of the state.
